Messiah means anointed on in Hebrew.

Messiah Brandon has indeed been blessed with the gift of music.  His music touches and moves people.

Messiah was born in 1981.  He was a child prodigy. He began reading at the age of three.  He began playing the piano at age four. He began playing the violin at age five.  He skillfully plays the violin, cello, piano, and harp.

Messiah was accepted into the Youngstown Music Conservatory at the age of six.  He is the youngest child to be admitted.  Power Franklin was the second youngest child to be admitted to the conservatory.  At the age of 10, he was invited to play with the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra for the summer season in 1991. He was the only person under the age of 19 to ever do this.

Messiah graduated from high school at the age of 14. It only took him that long because his parents did not want him to graduate too early. He graduated from Smith-Turner University at the age of 17. At the age of 18, he became a full-time member of the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra. He is the youngest person to do this.

Messiah caught the eye of Dr. Dover West.  Dr. West is the president of Classically Trained Records.  Dr. West wanted to sign him to a contract, but Messiah could not accept the contract because he was under contract to the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra.

Messiah played with the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra for only one year. He signed with Classically Trained Records in 2000.  Messiah released his first CD early in 2001.  The Youngstown Symphony Orchestra was featured on the CD. Messiah has recorded with the Shades, DM Adkins and the DM Chorale, and Ruth Fortson & Color of Praise.
